Hospital & facility transfers

A transfer involves two buildings, two care teams and one person who is tired of waiting. We coordinate directly with the sending and receiving units, arrive inside the agreed window, and carry the paperwork and belongings that so often get left behind.

Two staff members push patients in wheelchairs along a bright hospital corridor.

What’s included

Everything here is part of the service. Where a trip needs something extra, we quote it before you confirm.

  • Unit-to-unit coordination

We confirm with the sending unit before we leave and call the receiving unit before we arrive.

  • Confirmed pickup windows

Account partners get a committed window rather than an open-ended promise, so beds turn over predictably.

  • Belongings, tracked

Bags, mobility aids, hearing aids and charts are logged at pickup and signed for at drop-off.

  • Any mobility level

Ambulatory, wheelchair, Broda chair or stretcher — the same booking process covers all of them.

Who this is for

  • Hospital discharge planners and social workers
  • Long-term care and retirement residences admitting a new resident
  • Rehabilitation and complex continuing care units
  • Families moving a loved one between facilities

Good to know

  • Facility accounts get a direct dispatch line and consolidated monthly invoicing.
  • We can hold recurring daily windows for units with predictable discharge patterns.
  • Infection-control precautions are supported. Flag them at booking so the crew arrives prepared.

This is not an emergency service. We provide scheduled, non-emergency transportation only. If someone needs medical help right now, call 911.
